Level up:

This exercise can also count as cardio when 30 or more jumping jacks are done. For those who have knee or hip pain, this is a low-impact way to do jumping jacks.

Take note:

Don’t allow your neck to crane forward or your upper back to hunch while completing these moves. Keep your neck and upper back neutral and relaxed.

Seated Leg Lift

Time per rep: 15 seconds | Total time: 2 minutes

How to:

With both feet flat on the floor, sit in a chair with your knees bent. Place your hands on either side of the chair seat for support.

Straighten your right leg while keeping your foot on the floor. Tighten your tummy as you raise your right foot off the floor until it is parallel to the floor, if possible. Hold the position for five seconds, then slowly lower your foot back to the floor.

Reset by sitting with both knees bent. Switch to the other side by straightening your left leg. Raise your left foot and hold for five seconds before lowering back down.

Repeat each leg three more times.
